Amaka is an investment professional with over 15 years of experience in finance and investments. She is the founding partner of the Women’s Enterprise Acceleration Vehicle (WEAV Capital), a mission driven venture fund that invests in female led companies that are spearheading innovation and solving critical problems. She previously worked at the World Bank on private sector development, directly managing a portfolio of $1.1 billion in projects across Sub Saharan Africa.
Amaka has extensive experience funding and providing technical assistance to entrepreneurs, business incubators and venture capital firms in Sub-Saharan Africa. She sits on the board of several companies and served as the World Bank representative on the board of the Development Bank of Nigeria.
