About the Grants Program

Applications for Women Who Tech's FemTech and HealthTech Grants Program was open to overlooked startups globally, and closed July 22, 2021. We awarded $20K in equity free grants. The $15,000 Innovation Grant was awarded to Huma.AI, and the $5,000 Impact Grant was awarded to Sign-Speak.

How it works? Eligible startups must have completed the Grants Application by July 22, 2021. Our investor jury reviewed applications, and selected the top 5 startups to participate in our 6-week virtual program. We worked with the startups to hone their fundraising pitch and provide them with investor introductions. At the conclusion of the program, the startups pitched to a panel of investors, and $20,000 in equity-free grants was awarded.

In addition to the grants, W Fund, SteelSky Ventures, HearstLab, Citrine Angels, and other funds evaluated all finalists for further investment.
