Allyson is the founder of Women Who Tech, and has built a diverse network of 65,000+ engineers, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders. She has produced several Women Who Tech TeleSummits packed with the most inspiring tech changemakers, disruptors, and startup entrepreneurs, ranging from Arianna Huffington, Founder of Huffington Post, to Rashmi Sinah, co-founder of SlideShare, acquired by LinkedIn.
In 2015, Allyson launched the Women Startup Challenge in partnership with Craig Newmark of craigslist and craigconnects to help fund and showcase women-led startups focused on solving problems for people, businesses, and the planet.
Recently, she cofounded the W Fund, a VC firm directly investing in outstanding tech startups led by innovative and diverse founders.
Allyson is on the Board of Directors for the League of Women Voters. She has also sat on advisory boards for Anita Borg Institute, Tim O'Reilly's Gov 2.0 Expo, and NTEN's NTC Committee. She speaks at conferences globally ranging from SXSW to Personal Democracy Forum, BBCON, etc. She's a contributor to Forbes, Fast Company, and Quartz.
Allyson was named one of the "Most Influential Women in Tech" by Fast Company, a "Tech Titan" by the Washingtonian, and "one of the top 30 women entrepreneurs to follow on Twitter" by Forbes for her leadership roles in tech.
She is also passionate about the intersection of social change with online technologies and social communities, a topic she deeply explores in her nonprofit bestselling book Social Change Anytime Everywhere, co-authored by Amy Sample Ward of NTEN. The book is an action-oriented guide that shows nonprofits how to build an advocacy and donor base and mobilize their communities through multifaceted campaigns, and by integrating online channels with offline tactics.
Justyn coordinates all Women Startup Challenges, Grants Programs, and Women Who Tech programming. Passionate about closing the gender-gap and shattering both the glass ceiling and the mirrortocracy, Justyn works with women-led ventures and helps them get pitch ready.
Justyn has written for or has been featured in publications including Bust Magazine, Care2, Cosmopolitan, Ms. Magazine, and Jezebel to name a few, and facilitates panels and workshops about social media, gender, social justice, inclusivity, and sexuality education at conferences and in classrooms nationwide. She is the Chair of the Board for the Center for Sexual Pleasure and Health.
Kristin is a Digital Project Director at Rad Campaign and coordinates Women Who Tech’s website and technical support. She has been active in the field of web development, UX, marketing, fundraising, and social media for more than 14 years, helping NGOs develop strategies and digital tools to communicate and engage users. She frequently oversees requirements gathering for complex technical builds, and assesses technology platforms to match organizations with the best solutions to meet their needs. She has also worked on the product development of multiple mobile and web applications.
Amarja holds an MBA with a focus on International Business and has extensive experience in marketing and business development. Along with co-founding Veratempo, a much sought after product marketing and data analytics company, Amarja is also the founder of Foodoo. Foodoo is a food services company in Paris (where she currently lives) that focuses on clean eating and working with immigrant women. Having traveled to more than 40 countries, she brings her international experience and exposure to her culinary creations and her marketing skillset.
Her core skills are market research, creative thinking, and content creation. As a super organized professional, she makes sure that projects are on track and ROI is optimized. Amarja believes that attention to detail and listening to your client are essential for a successful partnership. She is a bilingual English and French speaker and is learning Italian and Japanese. She has a strong knowledge of the European and Asian markets.
Lynne d Johnson
A veteran journalist turned digital and social media strategist who led cross-functional teams to develop creative content and community experiences for popular media brands like Vibe, Spin, and Fast Company, as well as for a host of B2B and B2C brands. Although always a technologist and storyteller, Lynne got her start in the content/community space at the original social network, BlackPlanet.com. Currently working as a Content + Community Engagement Consultant developing brand marketing strategies and campaigns, with a focus on insights, strategy, planning, and execution to help brands reach their business goals by better engagement with their target audience through the power of storytelling. Also a tech evangelist and still a journalist covering popular culture, as well as various aspects of emerging media and technology, such as the augmented reality and wearable technology markets, for various media outlets. Lynne is currently writing a diversity tech column for Ebony.com, called "The Upload" and has often appeared as a guest on TWIT TV's "This Week In Google."
Hanna is a strategic and collaborative product leader with a passion for the intersection of engineering, business, and design. With experience across multiple industries at both the startup and enterprise scale, Hanna creatively draws on her diverse experiences to design impactful and innovative product solutions. Hanna has her BS in NanoEngineering and Materials Science from the University of California, San Diego and her MS in Technology Ventures from Carnegie Mellon. Stemming from her background in engineering and entrepreneurship, Hanna is not only a strong supporter of women and diverse talent in technology, but also an active consultant for first-time founders with a strong interest in early-stage startup investing.
Dhana is an angel investor and a product executive with deep expertise in AI/ML and digital retail. She is an industry veteran with over 15 years of experience leading product teams for startups & Fortune 500 companies. Dhana has worked extensively with wireless carriers as well as leading brands like P&G, COVERGIRL, Walmart, NBC, Toyota and Disney.
Dhana is the co-founder of Veratempo, a product marketing and data analytics company. Prior to Veratempo, she was General Manager of New Initiatives at TripAdvisor where she led the company’s growth in the untapped consumer ticketing business. Before that, as Vice President of Partnerships at Coupons.com Incorporated (now Quotient), Dhana oversaw the company’s retail strategy and partnerships.
Ms. Pawar is a regular speaker at tech events and is a strong advocate for women in technology. She has been quoted in a wide variety of leading media outlets, including CNN, ABC News, and All Things Digital. She has been the founding member of Silicon Valley Girls in Tech and sits on the advisory boards of the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center & OhmniLabs.
Lizelle van Vuuren
Lizelle van Vuuren is a South African born and raised entrepreneur, experiential designer and technologist. Lizelle is the Founder of Women Who Startup in 2013 and the Women Who Startup Foundation in 2018. Lizelle is the Founder and CEO of Lizelle & Co. in 2019, a design lab and clothing apparel brand. Lizelle comes from a long line of tech and design experience since she was 19 and has worked in enterprise software, tech startups, small businesses, and nonprofit foundations.
Her passions are creating experiences in any medium that delights and inspires users and customers and she's done so successfully with every brand and product that she's launched.

Anthony jumped from the corporate ladder to launch startups. He ignored his scarcity mentality until it broke him in November 2010, when he had to live in a car in New Orleans after his third startup failed. Two months later, thanks to mentors and yoga teacher training, Anthony was a phoenix.

Jessa Moore, of Jessa Moore Media, is a leader in the digital media space. She has consulted on projects ranging from political analysis to digital behavior in subcultures, and has worked in news, as well as PR/branding. She brings her knowledge of the digital space to her work in Public Relations, and has an interest in leadership and entrepreneurship-because she believes everyone can have an individual and direct impact. She has worked with the Journalism School at Hunter College, Eleanor Clift of The Daily Beast, ACLU, and founders on both coasts, as well as 29 Startups, out of The Hague.
Victoria has had the pleasure of working directly with founders and funders across many ecosystems around the world. She is well-versed in the dilemmas that businesses face, especially during growth phases. Her work and passion have been focused on supporting founders through education and community building. She has personally lead several women-focused business groups. Most recently she launched the Miami chapter for Sogal Foundation in 2019.
Victoria is a champion of helping women think bigger about their businesses and giving them the tools to grow. She works as a fractional Chief Marketing Officer with her consultancy, Ugliboss, which focuses on supporting women-led businesses in the areas of marketing, sales, and operations as they scale. She is thrilled to be partnering with Women Who Tech to help spread the word about the Women Start-up Challenge 2020 and hopes to inspire many female founders to seek the resources needed to accelerate the growth of their ventures.
