Aya Spencer

Aya Spencer is an investor at Kapor Capital. With a background in big data analytics, Aya has worked for the US Government's Intelligence Community, large banking institutions, and has served as a data advisor to many startups. At Kapor Capital, Aya's vertical lies heavily on concepts surrounding algorithmic fairness, data democracy, and personalization engines. Born in Germany and raised in Japan, Aya brings a global perspective to the venture community. Outside of work, Aya loves boxing and has served as a meal prep chef for a number of her  professional athlete friends.
