Jessie Wu

Jessie is an investor at CSC Upshot, a female-founded VC fund based in Palo Alto. She invests in seed and early-stage tech-enabled companies, with a strong interest/focus on fintech.Prior to her current role, she worked at an impact fund in Southeast Asia focused on gender lens investing. She drove the impact due diligence processes and built out frameworks to quantify (in $s) the social impact behind investing in the ethical garments and vehicle leasing sectors.Jessie has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from UC Berkeley Haas and a master’s degree in Finance from MIT Sloan. In her spare time, you’ll find her hosting dinner parties, enjoying weekend trips (oftentimes across the country), or checking out a new hiking trail.
